These terms cover your use of noahrogersweb.com. By using the site, you agree to them. They're written to be read, so if anything is unclear, just ask.

About this website

noahrogersweb.com is run by Noah Rogers, doing business as Noah Rogers Web Design, in Yakima, Washington. It describes my web design services and how to contact me.

Pricing and quotes

Prices on this site are starting points, not offers. Every project gets a written quote and a signed agreement before work begins, and that agreement is what governs the project. Prices don't include Washington sales tax, and they may change at any time without affecting work already agreed to.

Monthly plans

Monthly plans cover your website plus hosting and care for one monthly price, with a $0 setup fee. The first monthly payment is due when you sign, and the plan runs for 12 monthly payments. Each payment has two parts: a website part and a hosting and care part. On Essentials ($147 a month), $97 goes toward the website and $50 covers hosting and Core Care. On Premium ($297 a month), $147 goes toward the website and $150 covers hosting and Plus Care.

Until the website is paid off, its design and code belong to Noah Rogers Web Design. Your domain, business name, logo, photos and words are always yours. After your 12th payment, the website's files transfer to you: the pages, design, code and graphics made for your site. Accounts and tools from other companies, like a booking app, hosting account or stats service, aren't part of the transfer and stay under their own terms; stock photos keep their own licenses. You aren't required to keep paying me after that. I'll move the site to your own hosting account for free or send you the files, or you can choose a care plan.

You can buy the website out early at any time by paying the rest of the website part: $97 for each remaining payment on Essentials, or $147 for each remaining payment on Premium. A buyout ends the rest of the 12-month plan, and the website transfers to you as described above. Your site stays on my hosting through the end of the month you've paid for, then moves to your hosting or onto a care plan, whichever you choose. The details, including what happens if a payment is missed, are set out in your signed agreement.

Care plans

Care plans are optional and billed monthly. Every plan covers hosting, backups, security updates and fixing problems with the site itself, like the site going down or a form that stops working. Each plan includes a set amount of update time each month (15 minutes on Core Care, 1 hour on Plus Care, up to 3 hours on Pro Care). Owner Care ($97 a month) is for monthly-plan clients after they own their site: it adds uptime monitoring and visitor stats, includes up to 30 minutes of content changes a month, and I reply within 2 business days. Unused time doesn't roll over to the next month, and bigger changes, like a redesign or new pages, are quoted separately. You can cancel anytime; I'll move your site to your own hosting account for free.

Sample designs

The sample websites on this site, including Orchard Row Coffee, Ridgeline Roofing and Fourth Street Barber, are fictional businesses made to show my design work. Any resemblance to a real business is unintended. Their phone numbers, prices and details aren't real.

Free sample homepages

A free sample homepage I make for your business is a preview. There's no cost and no obligation. If you don't hire me, I won't publish it as your website or use your business name to promote my services.

Content ownership

The text, design and code of this website belong to Noah Rogers Web Design unless noted otherwise. The photo of downtown Yakima is by Quintin Soloviev and used under a Creative Commons license, as credited on the page. Please don't copy this site's content for your own use without asking. Ownership of client websites is set out in each client's agreement.

Links to other sites

This site links to services like Netlify and Wikimedia Commons. I'm not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

I keep this site accurate and working, but it's provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Information here is general and isn't legal, tax or financial advice. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for losses from using this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be handled in Yakima County, Washington.
